The Vadi System updates now via email. To update, download the new file, and replace the old one with the newly downloaded one.
This is just an update for your existing system – not a full system in case you lost yours, or a class switch.
If you’re on Windows, you’ll need to firstly log out of Achaea and close the core. Then, download and replace the attached .dll file into the systems folder (where mb-core is), and that’s it. You can now log back in with an updated system.
On Linux, you can update the system without logging out, but the changes will take effect after you restart it. Download the attached .so file into the systems folder (where vadisystem is), and that’s it. You can now log back in with an updated system.
On Macs, log out of Achaea and close the core. Then, download and replace the attached .dll file into the systems folder – it’s located in ~/Library/Application Support/Wine/prefixes/VadiSystem/drive_c/Program Files/Vadi Multi-Client System. You can now log back in with an updated system.
To make sure that the update worked, you can check the compile date that’s given with the vhelp command. It should be rather recent (or at least, newer than the previous one before updating).
