The Vadi System

Here you can learn about the main features that make up the foundation of all versions of the Vadi System.

General Features

Basic Features of the System
  • 5 minute setup!
  • Easy to read visual displays for quickly viewing your current settings, status, afflictions, etc.
  • Cures all known afflictions with the most efficient curing methods for the situation
  • Sips health, mana and eats moss when your health / mana falls below a certain level, which is specified by you. The sipping and moss eating levels can be set individually and altered at any time
  • The system will also sip if you have recklessness, to prevent your health / mana (depends on your sipping priority) from falling dangerously low.
  • Detects stupidity from unknown afflictions.
  • Health / mana sipping prioritization
  • Provides wide flexibility to toggle skills if you have them (for example - focus, clot, deathsight in vision, etc.) If you don't have a certain skill, the system will try and replace it with the best alternative whenever possible (for example, if you don't have deathsight in vision, it will eat skullcap to put up deathsight)
  • The system also features two mana allowance modes - the first is when both the Apostate and Priest class are disabled (so this mana level can be below 50%) and the second is if either class is enabled (this should be above 50%). This measure is to prevent Absolve and Cathasis. If you are below the current mana allowance, the system will not use any mana-draining abilities until you're above the level.
  • Has a parrying system, that can have two modes - default and automatic. Default is essentially enchanced manual parrying, automatic is where it parries the last hit limb.
  • The system also will auto-shield against axing (this feature is quite effective against Sentinels).
  • Curing has been made to work even in blackout, where you don't see all messages like you would normally.
  • The system automatically detects a confusion / dizzy evileye from Apostates.
  • The system recognizes prompt defences ( cexkdb- ).
  • Restoration has been implemented to be used automatically if you are riftlocked (provided you enable that option)
  • Afflictions can be displayed in a neat manner, along with their respective cures
  • The system also has a "do" and a "dofree" function. The "do" function can be used to do something when you regain both balance and equilibrium, and the action takes up balance or equilbrium. The "dofree" function is similar, except the action must not take up balance or equilibrium.
  • The system has a " do-repeat " function that will repeat the same command until you disable the option.
  • An easy to use pause function of course has been implemented. While paused, the system will do no actions, but it will track everything as normal. Once unpaused, it will resume its normal operation.
  • Class management has been implemented, for anti-illusion and speed purposes. There are easy aliases to either turnon/turnoff all classes at once, turnon/turnoff a specific class, and also to turnon a specific class only and disable all others.
  • Built in help files - to find out how something works while playing, without having to open and search through extra windows.

Failsafes

  • The system features a failsafe to repeat a command should it not go through. This is especially useful for stupidity and amnesia, and also helps in case something goes wrong and the system needs to redo an action.
  • Cure resets - the system will not loop trying to cure an affliction if you don't have it.
  • And many more small failfafes are in use throughout the system.

Lag Detection
  • The system recognizes lag, and compensates for this problem by pausing its functions and resuming once the lag is over. This helps to prevent potentially wasting valuable herbs while curing.

Anti-Illusion

  • The system makes use of class management as an anti-illusion measure.
  • It also checks certain afflictions to verify that they're real before curing them.
  • The system tracks all cures that it does, to prevent believing an illusioned cure.
  • Lifevision also has been implemented for Apostate, Infernal, and Occultist classes.
  • Anti-illusion protection for rejecting grace, mentors, and patrons.

Defences

  • The system has two defence modes: basic and combat.
  • In each mode, you can set up what defences you want to be deffed up (that is, what defences to put up when you switch to that mode).
  • Each mode can also have keepup defences, those are defences that the system will redef if they are stripped in any way (provided that defence keepup is enabled)
  • The system also features an easy way to toggle selfishness and mounting.
  • Each class has their own class defences implemented.
  • Defences are displayed in an easy to read output, along with their respective mana usage levels (if any).

Pipes

  • Keeps all three pipes filled and lit. Synchronization via pipelist command is included. Automatically knows which pipes go with which herbs and will assign new pipes to unassigned herbs (i.e., pipe decays and you're down to two, get a new pipe and pipelist to automatically assign and fill the pipe).

Aeon Curing

  • The system features advanced aeon curing, to the point where your elm pipe can be unlit and empty, you have asthma and anorexia on you, and you're tangled up from Hanged Man, and you'll still live. The system is able to relight, refill your pipe, outr and eat kelp, apply epidermal, and writhe while in aeon.
  • The system has been optimized to cure aeon in the fastest time possible; if something disrupts aeon curing, the system will restart it instantly.

Unknown Afflictions

  • The system is able to detect recklessness from an unknown affliction
  • If the unknown affliction is mental (from moon tarot for example), the system will focus to cure it (if you have the focus skill)
  • It also will auto-diagnose once you hit an x number of unknown afflictions (the number is specified by the user, but usually it's best to keep it as two of three)

Requirements

  • Absolutely none. You don't have to have focus, insomnia, artefact pipes, or anything else that other systems require  for this system to function properly. The system will just do it's best to use an alternative (for example, if you don't have insomnia, it will eat cohosh to put it up.) If you have an internet connection and use Nexus, you are ready to use the system.
