How to Make and Use Groups

When you'll be importing the Vadi System, or most any script, it will be required that you place each setting in it's respective group. To create a group in Nexus, you simply need to place something in the group - if the group does not exist yet, Nexus will automatically create it.

The Group Field - Default

To place something in a group, you need to write the group name in the "Group:" field - by default, everything goes into the "default" group.

Creating a New Group

If you want the setting to go into a different group other than default, you simply replace "default" with the new group name. On the far right of the Group field, you'll notice that it will say either (on), (off), or (new). (on) means the group that the setting will be saved in / belongs to is enabled, (off) means that the group is disabled, and (new) means that the group does not exist yet, and will be created when you save the setting.

Using an Already Existing Group

Time saving tip: to not have to type in the same group name each time you want to make several settings in a group, you can just select the needed group in the "View" field.

Repeatedly Using an Existing Group

Each time now you make a new setting, the "Group" field will automatically be filled in with the currently select group name.
